About Me

Computers have always fascinated me, mainly because we can use them to play games. My understanding at the beginning of what a computer was that, it is used just for computational work and to do productive work. But the more I got to explore the workings of the computer, I found out that it can even game. It opened a door for me for my fascination with digital games. The ones that I was hooked with was GTA, Doom, and Counter-Strike. These games made me fall in love with gaming and esports. So I focused on playing games more, sought more of its potential. I was focused on becoming an esports player and build a career revolving around gaming and I remember myself practicing all day playing games. But esports was not as popular back then. So my vision to become a professional gamer in the future looked blurry, my interest faded away.

With time and research, I found out that developing games can be taxing. Developers can spend hours upon hours just to develop one game. And sometimes the game will have a lot of bugs and glitches or at times won’t even run. But the sense of accomplishment, despite all the difficulties and shortcomings made me have interest in game development and game engines. Visualizing what I want to do in the future was vague for me. But to recreating my childhood for other people was one of my dreams. Those happy time playing games, meeting new people online and teaming up with them to create strategies to win. These memories are forever to stay. So, I decided to become a game developer. It motivated me to focus myself on that career path. Not only that, I have a vision that is to build a game engine that can be widely accessible for all types of people so that they can develop games, entertain themselves, helps them to have an interest in gaming and game developing and finally that can help them to become more creative. That’s why I decided to become a Game Developer. And my main motive, for now, is to learn as much as I can so that I can become skilled in game development.

My short term goal is to complete my education and then work as a game developer. And long term goal is to build an engine for game development and accessibility of the software. So, to achieve my career aspirations I planned to study the Diploma of Information Technology at Deakin College with a pathway to study game development at Deakin University to get the professional certification and amass all the important skills, social skills and technical knowledge for the career in the field of game development.
